It does however not work in case of a blank HUD at start of game. I think the mechs are equipped with the same kind of hardware as my PC. I believe it's the X key in an unmodified layout. Loss of HUD after overheating can easily be cured by the average reactor shutdown. Just try and re-overheat and over ride, and it seems to come back.the only issue with that is you might over-bake and explode as I have done a couple of times.
